Saturday & Sunday, Nov.  13 and 14, 2021

Due to ongoing precautions during the pandemic, this year’s Fall Oyster Crawl will become a “Fall Oyster Celebration”. Instead of “crawling” from winery to winery, we encourage visitors to make a reservation and spend the day at their favorite participating Trail winery to enjoy wine and oyster pairings.

Reservations may be required as seating will be limited due to social distancing requirements. We encourage you to check with participating wineries to learn more about their events, including hours and safety guidelines. Several wineries may also feature live music.

The following wineries are confirmed to be hosting an oyster-related event (this page will be updated as information becomes available):

Event: Oyster Celebration
Dates: Saturday, Nov. 13 and Sunday, Nov. 14
Description: Featuring food by Munchies Grill. The menu will include: Raw Oysters, Smoked Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller and Oyster Po’ Boys. Other food items will include: Crab Cake Sandwiches, Softshell Crab Sandwiches, Blackened Tuna Bites, Seafood Tacos, Burgers, Fresh Cut Fries and Homemade Mac n Cheese. Live music on both days.

Event: Oysters at Ditchley
Dates: Sunday, Nov. 14 from 11am-4pm (Ditchley will be closed to the public on Saturday, Nov. 13 for a private event.)
Description: Oysters will be available from Kellum’s Seafood.

Event: GRV WOMP (Wine, Oysters & Music Party)
Dates: Saturday, Nov. 13 from 12-6pm & Sunday, Nov. 14 from 12-5pm
Description: Featuring oysters by Salty Bob’s, including:
Buttered Oysters (with garlic, cheese, bread crumbs, herbs) and Oysters made with “North Carolina Cackalacky Sauce”, as well as Crab balls and Coconut Shrimp. Live music will be performed by Darcy Dawn on Saturday from 2:30-5:30pm and Jamie & Tyler on Sunday from 1:30-4:30pm.

Event: Corks & Oysters – Wine & Oyster Event
Dates: Saturday, Nov. 13 from 11-6pm & Sunday, Nov. 14 from 12-5pm
Description: Featuring oyster dishes from Salty Bob’s food truck. Live music on Saturday from 1-4pm by The Windbags and on Sunday from 12:30-3:30pm by Travis Colby. Tidewater Oyster Gardener Association (TOGA) will be onsite for anyone wishing to learn more about the process of growing oysters. Glass and bottle sales only during event. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs to enjoy the green space.

Event: Wine & Oysters at Ingleside

Description: Featuring several styles of oysters prepared on-site by Denson’s Chesapeake Bay Farm to Table.
Reservations info: Reservations are required for this event and should be made by Tuesday, Nov. 9 by calling the winery at 804.224.8687 during normal business hours (12-5pm daily). Reserved tables are available for groups of 6 or more. Seating for other reservation holders will be first-come, first-serve on day of event.

Event: Oyster Celebration

Description: Mulled Cabernet Franc will be featured. We will be serving oyster stew to benefit the Guadalupe Free Clinic in Colonial Beach. There will also be a fundraiser bake sale. Check out the Northern Neck Arts group for classes being offered at the winery that weekend. View classes.
